Who said you can’t enjoy life to the fullest because we’re facing a recession? I firmly believe recession is a state of mind; it can be stopped simply through our daily activities. If there truly is a recession, then how come I get to enjoy this summer with cheap international flights considering the fact my husband and I are only your regular company employees? We just flew in from Turkey matter-of-factly and before that we spent a week in the Middle East after having chanced upon low-priced airline tickets to Dubai.

There’s definitely no turning away from the hard times, got to face it, but it’s not a reason to hinder yourself from enjoying your hard earned money. All you have to do is adjust your expenses, cut down on certain things like extravagant food and clothing. Not eating French or Italian cuisine won’t kill you. Not wearing Prada doesn’t make you an outcast in society. By putting your money in the right places, you’ll manage to savor an unforgettable vacation.

Economists say this year will see less people flying but I think otherwise since there are many people nowadays who, like me, manage to travel the world via cheap airfares. How do we manage to purchase plane tickets at drop down prices? What’s the Internet doing? Simply type in essential keywords such as cheap airfare and you’ll be redirected to all sorts of websites offering discounts and promo flights as they’ve partnered with top airline companies and cruise lines that guarantee only the best vacation packages.

According to a friend, the Philippines has beautiful beaches and that I have to be there this summer. Unfortunately, the weather won’t allow. Been watching the news as of late and I’m not very impressed with the mood swings of nature. Storms have been lashing the country so I guess I have to delay my trip in that part of Asia and head somewhere else in the meantime.

Earlier this year, my hubby and I have contemplated a Caribbean cruise. After discussing it thoroughly with him last night, I went to the company from which we would regularly purchase airline tickets this morning and found out it offers affordable couple’s packages in the Caribbean. I got so excited, can’t wait to go and enjoy skinny-dipping in the clear waters surrounded by beautiful islands and islets.
