Ruffles, pleats, beads and hard candies: but a few things that can save you from landing the Worst-dressed List come Events season. With a million eyes judging you the moment you step into the scene, the least you can do is be mistaken for a carpet – cleaning in Las Vegas badly needed.

Some say that finding the perfect red carpet look is like searching for the Holy Grail. But for many others, Hollywood A-listers to be exact, it’s all about finding a team of genius stylists that can turn even the most hideous of beasts into the finest of beauties. Once you find your dream carpet look which means having all known beauty products, the dress, shoes and accessories to match, you’re pretty much safe from carpet cleaners Las Vegas who might take you for a rug and take you in for a good dose of carpet cleaning services in Las Vegas or upholstery cleaning Las Vegas.

The question now is how does one get the red carpet look right in the (designer) bag? It is true that not all women are blessed with impeccable sense of style or with fashion-forward stylists. But most, if not all, women are gifted with instinct. At least enough to tell that an off-white purse would look more like something for tile cleaning Las Vegas when matched with a floor-sweeping red Valentino gown.

Instinct would tell you that the first thing you have to consider in choosing a red carpet gown is the theme of the event. With theme comes color. Say it’s a white party – a rather usual scheme in socials – you’d know better than splurge on a Marilyn Monroe-inspired red dress. But as most occasions require a red carpet, stay safe by choosing gowns that would go well with the said color. Only the bold and the ballsy would go for colors such as electric blue or bottle green. The ballistic, however, might consider wearing darker shades of pink or orange that in whatever way would clash with red.

After color comes style. The rule of thumb for red carpet events: go over-the-top. “Plain white dress” usually doesn’t work. Dresses that would land you on the glossy pages of entertainment weekly’s are those in the likes of “white creampuff dress” or “black orchid gown”. Get high on style by incorporating pleats, ruches and layers – but not everything together – onto your gown.

Think of your chosen dress as a cake – you’ll need icing (in the form of jewelry) to top it off. No formal dress can stand on its own. Yes, even if it’s a long version of Beyonce’s frock in the ‘Sweet Dreams’ music video. It might take a statement neckpiece in order to pull a look through or a simple pair of silver earrings to complete a well thought out ensemble.

Just when you thought you had it all figured out, there’s still HMU to worry about. Oh well, sleep on it. You just might wake up with that celebrity glow.
